E-invoicing
E-invoicing to the authorities? One click – for DE and AT.
The mandate arrives in stages; Nori is ready. You write your invoice as usual – Nori generates the compliant formats on send and files them for you.
Formats
Every required format, out of the box
No add-on, no converter. You switch on the right format per client or per invoice – Nori generates the rest on send.
ZUGfeRD 2.3
Hybrid PDF/A-3 with embedded CII-XML – a readable invoice and structured data in one file. Ideal for B2B in Germany.
XRechnung
UBL-2.1 XML for public-sector clients in Germany (B2G), enabled per client on request.
ebInterface 6.1
Austria's e-invoicing format for filing with the federal government – generated out of the box, no add-on.
Filing with the authorities (DE & AT)
Not just generate – file directly
Many tools produce an XML and leave you to it. Nori goes all the way: by Leitweg-ID for German authorities, through the USP for the Austrian federal government.
- Germany: Leitweg-ID
- Nori addresses your XRechnung to the right authority via Leitweg-ID and hands it over in the required format.
- Austria: straight to the government
- ebInterface goes to the federal government through the USP/BRZ web service (e-Rechnung.gv.at) directly – no separate login, no upload by hand.
- SEPA QR included
- Every invoice carries a scan-to-pay QR code so your clients pay without typing an IBAN.
The e-invoicing mandate, without the reading
From 2025, every business in Germany must be able to receive e-invoices, with mandatory sending phased in through 2028. In Austria, e-invoicing to the federal government has long been required. For solo businesses and small teams that otherwise means researching formats, hunting for converters, figuring out portals.
Nori removes that part. Because ZUGfeRD, XRechnung and ebInterface are built right into invoicing, the correct format appears on send by itself – and filing with the authorities along with it. You decide per client which format applies; everything else happens in the background.
The guide in the docs shows how to enable e-invoicing per client and file with the authorities.
