Time Pools
Track budgets and usage for time-based contracts – ideal for retainers and fixed hour allowances.
A time pool is essentially a maintenance or retainer contract: a budget in hours or money that tops itself up automatically on a fixed cadence – weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. It is consumed by the streams you assign to the pool, that is, by the filtered time entries from your external tools.
This way you can see at a glance how much of a retainer or contract allowance has already been used and how much is left. For time over budget, you decide how Nori handles it – for example as a hard cap, as a running balance, or by carrying a deficit over into the next period.
