Change a proposal status

A proposal's status changes automatically the moment your customer accepts online – or you set it yourself in the proposal details.

You can change a proposal status in two ways: your customer accepts it directly online, or you mark it by hand in the details. Both keep your dashboard up to date, so you always see which proposals are open, accepted or declined.

Online acceptance by your customer

Every proposal can include online acceptance. Through the secure link, your customer opens the proposal, chooses between variants and ticks the optional line items they want – the total recalculates live. With one click, they accept.

Nori records the acceptance with a timestamp, notifies you instantly and sets the status to "accepted" automatically. The accepted scope – including the ticked optional line items – can then be turned into an invoice in one click.

Proposal status in the details

If your customer agreed by phone or email, you set the status yourself. In the proposal details you mark it as "accepted" or "declined" – so the status stays correct even without online acceptance, and the proposal moves into the right column on your dashboard.
