Streams
Streams are the import rules for your connections – they define the basis on which Nori pulls in and evaluates your time and data.
A stream links one or more of your connections – your time tracking, for example – to a clear set of import rules. Instead of just pulling in raw data, you decide over which period and by which rules Nori looks at the entries. That turns raw time entries into a clean basis for reports, evaluations and invoices.
What a stream controls
Reporting period: weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly – so the evaluation matches your billing rhythm.
Rounding rules: decide how individual time entries are rounded before they flow into reports and invoices.
Time pools: define quotas in the form of maintenance contracts and keep an eye on how much is used.
Multiple connections: take one or several connections into account together in a single stream.
PDF reports: generate a branded PDF report straight from a stream.
That makes a stream the bridge between your sources and billing: set it up once, and new entries flow in under the same rules and stay consistent across every report.
